officially depressed
So, today was weigh-in day. Every Thursday is weigh-in day. I've been on this silly-little diet for just over 2 weeks now. Here's a chart:
Date Weight
15-Jul 210
22-Jul 208
29-Jul 205
5-Aug 204.5
Half a pound!!!!! Oh cripes. There has to be a better payoff, or I'm gonna eat a loaf of Italian bread smothered in ice cream.
Oh, and my wacky wife signed us up to start running 5K's again this fall. 1st one in 2 weeks. I am not ready.

I saw some where that said that most people on the Atkin's Diet usually gain most or all of their weight back. (I think it's a psychology of being on a diet, then punishing yourself, or getting depressed, when you don't live up the expectations of that diet.)
I think the running sounds like a good idea -- just make sure you train and are ready for it. You can eat anything as long as you exercise and do consume in moderation.
I think its got something to do with walking around the lake instead of running! That and Kokanee beer. Blame it on Canada!
Why not just eat less...Seems simple to me!
